Dr. Mboh Elango is the President of the MEDICI Advisory Group as well as the founder and medical director for the MEDICI Urgent Care and Wellness Center. Dr. Elango completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine in 2008 and is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with 15 years of experience and expertise in treating medical emergencies in community-based emergency rooms. Dr. Elango is passionate about a holistic and integrative approach to health and wellness. He has been named 100 Most Influential Atlantans in Medicine in 2020 and 2021, as well as a Power Player in Medicine in 2021. He has also been recognized as one of Atlanta’s Leading Health and Beauty Experts in 2019 as well as Premier Medical Experts in 2021. Dr. Elango is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). Dr. Elango is a fellow and member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Georgia College of Emergency Physicians as well as the Royal Institute of International Affairs. Dr. Elango is also a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, the European Lifestyle Medicine Organization, Mediterranean Lifestyle Medicine Institute, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Elango also works as a consultant with a special interest in improving health delivery and Emergency response systems. Dr. Elango is an avid art collector and is fluent in French.
Catherine Clark is the Clinical Director for MEDICI Urgent Care and Wellness Center. She is a family nurse practitioner who is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her nursing degree from Gordon State College in 2012 and enjoyed six fulfilling years of emergency medicine and hospice nursing. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Maryville University in 2018 with induction into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She has worked as a nurse practitioner with a focus on emergency medicine since then, and as a result, she brings extensive experience in the treatment and management of medical urgencies.
Catherine is incredibly passionate about wellness and health. She draws her inspiration from having watched members of her family struggle with chronic medical conditions. As a result, she believes wholly in the role of traditional western as well as non-western philosophies in the overarching goal of health, wellness, and longevity. It is this dedication that she brings to MEDICI Urgent Care and Wellness Center every day.
Catherine is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging.
Tamara Mathias is a licensed massage therapist. She has been working in the fitness and nutrition industry as a certified professional since 1987 and as a licensed neuromuscular therapist since 1999. Tamara specializes in deep tissue massage, craniosacral therapy, and myofascial release, as well as other modalities.
Her focus is to help you create a healthier body and mind through relaxation and healing.
While in college, she received Reiki Level I & II Certification. She is also certified as a Meditation Teacher, in Crystal Bowl Sound Therapy as well as Emotional Freedom Technique/Meridian tapping. She is a member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners (IARP).
During a session with Felicia, you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated. With compassion and intuition, she will focus on the areas in need of support; balance and clear the chakras; help to release any negative or blocked energy; and guide you along your journey to self-healing. She has witnessed many positive changes in others by sharing the nurturing and healing practice of Reiki.
Felicia believes that Reiki is meant for everyone, including animals, and has shared Reiki with horses, dogs, and cats. She volunteers with children and horses at Stride Ahead, which is an equine-assisted therapy program.
